About the event

About the Event:

Curious about the powerful intersection of psychedelics and sexuality? Join us for an enticing evening of open and deep conversations as we peel back the curtain on taboo topics and delve into how psychedelics can deepen intimate connections, enhance sexual experiences, and promote healing within relationships. Moderated by Danielle Aubrey Smith, a Certified Relationship and Dating Coach, as well as a Business Consultant, this panel will feature Tah Whitty, a Master Intimacy and Emotional Navigation Coach, Drea Aguilar, an Embodied Leadership Coach, and Ashley Carmen, LMFT and founder of the Psychedelic Guide Network. Together, they will discuss the potential for psychedelics to break down barriers, foster deeper emotional and physical connections, and help individuals overcome trauma related to sexuality. We’ll explore the science behind altered states of consciousness and sexual energy, as well as real-life experiences from those who have used these substances to transform their intimate lives.

This conversation, set against the vibrant backdrop of ArtUsCo's Realms of Fungi art show, will provide insights into the ethical considerations, potential risks, and profound benefits of merging these two powerful aspects of human experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to peel back the layers, enjoy the conversation, and view the captivating art at the Realms of Fungi show.

Ashley has specialized training in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy through MAPS and Psilocybin Guide training rooted in Mazatec traditions. She founded the Psychedelic Guide Network to create a collaborative community for practitioners, celebrating diverse traditions within the psychedelic field and integrating them with Western medicine, aiming to respect and honor the transformative power of these medicines
