About the event

On Sunday, August 28th, we're collaborating with psychedelic researcher and integrative psychiatrist Susan Webb and hosting the second of two intimate workshops to explore the potential benefits of the dream matrix for psychedelic integration. Your participation and anonymous feedback will be of great value to Susan's research (soon to be piloted at a major psychedelic research institution) as she seeks to better understand how to optimize and enhance psychedelic integration.

***This is not mandatory, but the ideal candidate is someone who has experienced a psychedelic journey or microdose within a month prior to the workshop***

Space is limited, so please register before the event fills up.

HOW IT WORKS:

A social dreaming matrix is an embodied opportunity to share dreams with others. The process will begin with a meditation to access the reverie of the dream state, followed by a sharing of dreams and free associations to one another’s dreams and dream imagery. Tapping into collective unconscious and the supra-conscious, the matrix weaves a rich tapestry of connections and allows an organic emergence of previously hidden meanings and new truths. More poetic than narrative and fully embodied, the experience strives to cultivate a sense of unity and a deepening of creative, life-giving channels.

A follow-up online integration experience will be available to those who participate.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

Susan D. Webb, M.D.

Susan is a psychedelic researcher, integrative psychiatrist, artist, and creator of The Social Dreaming Project. a non-profit arts organization using Social Dreaming Matrix to enhance creativity and consciousness through community projects.

A lead facilitator for the Usona clinical trial investigating psilocybin for major depression, the Beckley Foundation 5-MeO-DMT (bufo toad venom) trial, and palliative care trials investigating psilocybin in the cancer setting, Susan regularly holds liminal space for dreamers in matrices both live and virtual. After hosting social dreaming matrix for several years, Susan began to appreciate the creative liminal space of the matrix as a potentially valuable tool for psychedelic integration. In collaboration with a group of artists and scientists, Susan has designed a pilot study, Social Dreaming Matrix for Psychedelic Integration, which will be presented for potential further research at a major psychedelic research center in the UK this fall. You can follow more of her work at dreammatrices.com and Triangle Integrative Psychiatry

Rana San

Seattle-based artist Rana San will join to co-host the matrix. Rana is an intermedia artist, curator, and night dreamer pondering language and lineage, intimacy and interdependence. Her film poetry and analog photography meld dreamwork, movement, and word play, examining the new meanings made in spaces where artistic mediums meet. She has been participating in social dreaming matrices since 2020, incorporating inspirations gleaned into waking experiments in the arts.

*One free scholarship ticket will be available for each workshop. Please email us directly explaining why you are interested in participating in this matrix.

Location will be provided upon RSVP.
